Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I AM the light of the world.
He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."
Through the medium of clay sculpture, the Gospel is presented.
Christian artist, Lavelle Evans begins with a large clump of natural clay. The life-size bust sculpture of the crucified Christ is carefully shaped by hand right before your eyes, much how God's hands shapes and molds our lives. The visual and scriptural background, with beautiful music and specialized lighting clearly touches the lost, burdened or lonely, with a new strength in Christ. For the fulfilled Christian, this time of worship brings a fresh touch of God's love and nearness.

During the presentation the story of the Life of Christ is told.
Example of the Resurrected Christ in natural clay.
From the rolling hills of Central Louisiana, sculptor Lavelle Evans begins with a large clump of natural clay and will carefully shape by hand a life-size sculpture of the crucified and resurrected Christ. While the artist works with the clay, he shares with his audience, the story of the life and times of Jesus Christ. As the narrative progresses, dramatic music and lighting intensifies, the clay piece is completed and the sculptured Christ figure is slashed with the "whip" then is nailed to the cross. As the story and music concludes, the Christ triumphantly emerges from the tomb and reigns resurrected over death. Lavelle has shared this Gospel in this unusual way with thousands of people throughout the United States, traveling into churches, conferences, campsite evangelism, and street ministry. The artist has dedicated his life and talents to the service of Christ.
